Global Gateway Advisors Supports LGBTQ Community at GLAAD Media Awards
Global Gateway Advisors attended the 33rd annual GLAAD Media Awards, an event that honors media for fair, accurate and inclusive representation of LGBTQ people and issues. The New York ceremony took place on May 6, 2022, and recognized advocates making a significant difference in promoting widespread LGBTQ visibility and inclusivity, including journalists at AP, Forbes, MSNBC, NBC, Univision, Telemundo, The Advocate and VICE News.
Since its inception in 1990, the GLAAD Media Awards has become one of the most visible annual LGBTQ awards shows in the world, sending powerful messages of acceptance and solidarity to audiences globally.
We were inspired by the impactful, powerful work spotlighted by the evening’s passionate speakers, including Karine Jean-Pierre, the first Black and first LGBTQ White House Press Secretary.
