APEC CEO Summit convenes top business and government leaders

Every year, more than 1,000 high-level corporate leaders engage with senior government officials from across the Asia-Pacific to strengthen business ties and diplomatic relations and identify new ways to unlock global economic opportunity, prosperity and growth. Participants include world leaders, global CEOs, visionary entrepreneurs, highly respected thought leaders and subject matter experts from across the region.

Assignment

> Establish the APEC CEO Summit as the premier forum for business and government leaders in the Asia-Pacific.
Build regional and global visibility, dialogue and momentum around the summit’s critical conversations and gatherings. International economic, political, health and social challenges underscore how critically important these forums are to bolster public-private collaboration and fostering fair, open, inclusive and sustainable growth.

Strategy

> Increase delegate attendance and engage new diverse audiences, partners and communities.

Connect business leaders, government decision makers and sponsors with top-tier media partners on and off stage to drive dialogue and interest on the urgent challenges and opportunities facing the Asia-Pacific region and the world.

Program

> Build surround sound visibility and awareness for the APEC CEO Summit.
Since 2011, we’ve taken an integrated communications and media approach that has included securing top-tier global speakers, participants and media partners including the BBC, Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, Financial Times, Fortune, Forbes, Foreign Affairs, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, among others. We’ve confirmed increased media attendance and event coverage, driven earned media coverage, coordinated celebrity appearances, produced engaging editorial and social media content, and led thought leadership initiatives that have reached global audiences.

Results

> Create surround-sound coverage with broadcast, print and digital media.
Year after year, we’ve delivered a measurable impact on delegate and media registration and participation, facilitated extensive content development and engagement, and contributed to the program through the addition of high-caliber speakers and moderators. We negotiated top-tier international media partnerships, exceptional moderator participation -- including Bloomberg’s Emily Chang and Fortune’s Diane Brady -- and coordinated panels with government leaders including U.S. President Joe Biden.
